Amazing evening. The choice to only serve English wines is initially a bit counter intuitive but listening to the owner wax vinicultural about the food matching you start to realise you are in good hands.
And you really are. The potted shrimp bites were a minor misfire but literally every other item from the starters through to the pizzas to the complimentary ales comp?d by the owner at the end of the evening? All fantastic.
It?s great to have a bit of central London confidence in chiswick. About time!
